The Spirit of God actually grieves over our sinful choices…choices that assault His holiness and spit on His unfailing love. The good news is that God continues to stand ready to forgive! The grieving God rejoices in his child’s return.
One thing is for sure; this sinful anger is in the context of the “new man Christian conduct code” (4:20-24!). Anger is not how the church is to be identified
Too many believers are walking through life weighed down by unforgiveness. Every grudge we hold adds weight to our daily life and relationships. We fool ourselves into thinking we are punishing the offender when we are actually carrying the pain ourselves!
