The Spirit of God actually grieves over our sinful choices…choices that assault His holiness and spit on His unfailing love. The good news is that God continues to stand ready to forgive! The grieving God rejoices in his child’s return.
Betrayal doesn’t only hurt; it exposes where our trust lies. Matthew 26 shows us that even when people fail, Jesus remains faithful. Although, with the faithfulness of Jesus comes the call for disciples of Jesus to expose and pull out the weeds of betrayal!
Too many believers are walking through life weighed down by unforgiveness. Every grudge we hold adds weight to our daily life and relationships. We fool ourselves into thinking we are punishing the offender when we are actually carrying the pain ourselves!
