...With All My Heart

II Chronicles 31:21 states this about Hezekiah, “And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.” Wow! These are strong words recorded in the Bible about the man Hezekiah. Hezekiah had an enduring spirit of excellence because his motive was pure. He was seeking God; therefore, “he did it with all his heart.” Everyone has things they would like to be said of them, but what will those who know you best say of your life lived on this earth? Are you known for your endless pursuit of God and living this life with heaven in view? Are you known for serving God with all your heart? Each person will do things “with all his heart” when he has fully yielded himself to that purpose. The root question for your service to God actually begs to know this: “To what or to whom do you so fully yield that you do it with all your heart?” This question requires brutal honesty. There is nothing you can “spin” and think you have fooled the all-knowing God. This question also requires urgency because you will give an account to the Lord for the answer. Are you ready?

I’ll be looking for you this Sunday….
