Here is how the resurrection of Jesus changes you! When God looks at you, He does not see you through your past sin. He sees you through Jesus! So, this does not mean you are a sinner trying to do better. It means you are someone who died with Christ and now lives in Him! The church isn’t trying to earn a new identity. It is simply living out the one Jesus has already given!

We do not need to explain away how the eternal, purposeful, sovereign God was able to do such incredible acts with His words in just 6 days or just 144 hours. There is too much detail, too much complexity, and too much balance in all of creation for it to have merely exploded into existence or evolved into such complexity!
Damaged faith will reveal itself under pressure … and it can happen surprisingly fast! In the garden, Peter is drawing a sword in defense of Jesus, and at the trial, Peter cannot speak one word of loyalty for Jesus. When we drift into distance from relationship with Jesus, fear will take over… and when fear leads the heart, faith loses its voice.
Genesis comes before Exodus and Leviticus for a reason… and the same is true for us. Christianity is not first about behavior. It’s about belief! It’s not first about rules. It’s about relationship with God. Before we can truly live as God’s people, we must know who God is and how He works. That’s why the Bible begins with Genesis.
