In Mark 12:41, the Bible says the Lord “beheld.” The Greek verb tense here is translated, "He was beholding;" or "He was observing."  The Lord was observing “how the people cast money into the treasury.” He was observing their motives for giving these offerings. The Lord is the “heart-searcher!” Why do you give what you give in the church offering box?
